In the spring of 1564, on the date of April 23rd, a man by the name of William Shakespeare was born, later baptized on the 26th of the following month. His parents were John Shakespeare and Mary Alden: the father being an alderman and Shakespeare's mother being the daughter of a farmer. This had no affect on their son's future. With such books as A Midsummer Nights Dream and The Tempest, the well renowned poet obtained inspiration, allowing him to become a prime and exemplary writer and much more. When he aged to become 18, Anne Hathaway took his hand in marriage. Together, they had three offspring: Hamnet Shakespeare, Judith Quiney, and Susanna Hall. Shakespeare was known to have began writing plays in the year of 1592, where he was recognized as an actor and dramatist. He is often referred to as England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon". Within his lifespan, the significant figure devised approximately 37 plays. A few being Romeo and Juliet, MacBeth, and Hamlet. With the talent to compose plays that left the audience in awe, William Shakespeare had multiple successes in his career. Later, after he retired from play-writing, he moved from his living space in London back to Stratford-upon-Avon, where he resided with his wife until his death day on the 23rd of April, in 1616.
